LenzUs.com offers group or individual photo sharing, image, movie and audio hosting sites referred to as "Sites".

Registration is not required in order to view content in public areas of LenzUs, or to visit those Sites which are open to the public.

Some LenzUs Sites however do require that you sign in with a username and password in order to view the content.

Each posting on LenzUs may contain a link to a Visitor List which shows the names of the members of that Site who have visited that posting. However, each user has the option, in their user settings, of indicating that their name not be included on these lists. Additionally, each Site manager has the option of disabling the feature altogether for their Site, in which case only a generic hit counter will show for each posting.

Entering your birth date in your user settings is optional, and is only made use of if you are a member of a Site for which the Site manager has enabled the birthday announcement feature. If you don't wish to have your birthday announced to members of your Site, then you may leave your birth date blank in your user settings.

We use cookies to save page layout information, and optionally, to save your sign in information so that you may skip the sign in process. When your sign in information is saved, your password is not saved in the cookie; only a token id representing your user account is stored in the cookie. No other personal user or visitor data is stored or retrieved using cookies.

The IP address of each visitor to LenzUs is saved for 24 hours, after which time daily statistics are stored in summary form only, and the IP address detail is discarded.

LenzUs does not sell, rent or loan member names, email addresses or any other personal member information to anyone.

Consequently, we never display a member's email address on any LenzUs page unless a user posts their own email address in a text topic or comment.

We do allow registered members to send messages to one another. However this is done using an internal messaging system that does not display the email address of the recipient to the person who is sending the message.

If you are a member of a LenzUs Site, then your name will only appear on the Site's member list if you have explicitly set the option in your user settings which enables your name to be included on the list.

A registered user account is required if you wish to create your own LenzUs Site (manage a Site "Subscription"), or if you wish to post content, or comment on postings.

A user account is not the same thing as a LenzUs Subscription. A LenzUs Subscription is a LenzUs Site managed by a user with a registered user account.

A user account is required in order to visit password-protected Sites which you have been invited to join.

As a registered user, you may delete any content that you have posted at any time.

If you manage a LenzUs Site, then you must provide a valid email address in your user settings in case LenzUs needs to contact you for subscription or management related issues. It is your responsibility to keep that email address current so that you don't miss any such communications.
